S-PRO
S-PRO
A semi-lightweight wall covering, used for decorative texture, waterproofing, and protection of the substrate. It is primarily used on facades but can be applied on interiors too, directly on the masonry, and applied either manually or using a coating machine (flicker, spray, or tyrolean.). It is a breathable material which absorbs moisture, as opposed to blocking it, therefore is more effective in its purpose. It can be used on new construction projects as a concrete plaster replacement or even on top of this layer.
The material is an anti-humidity mortar coating based on natural lime, mineral fillers, and organic binders making it one of the UAE’s only eco-friendly and non-toxic single-component waterproofing systems that doesn’t require any polymer / resin to be mixed with it or applied on top. S-PRO is only required to be mixed with water (in the ratio specified below) and is easily useable on vertical surfaces with optimal adhesion. A thickness of up to 5 cm can be achieved, thus being great for new developments where levelling can be tough on a jagged brick and mortal surface.
The treated surfaces can be left raw or painted over directly (no need for primer or any waterproofing base coat). If you require an extra smooth finish, for interior walls, apply a 1mm layer of SMARTOPRET CACHET BLEU coating prior to painting.
- Acceptable thickness of coat: up to 5cm
- Finish: Rustic, scraped, or textured
- Yield (typical): 1m^2 / kg / 3mm thickness
- Pack size: 25kg bag
Product application steps:
- Dilute the 25kg bag of SMARTOPRET CACHET ROUGE in 6 (six) liters of clean water.
- Mix using a mechanical stirrer for a maximum of 3 minutes (on slow speed) until a lump-free batter forms.
- Let the mixture stand 5-10 minutes before application.
- Clean the application space: remove dirt, any trace of oil, or grease; it would be preferable to moisten the surface prior to application.
- Apply the coat using a stainless steel trowel or machine in two layers until obtaining the desired thickness. For accuracy and to eliminate margin of error, consult an AMA representative for precise instructions in the context of your project.
