SMARTOPRET CACHET BLEU – SP2

Waterproofing system, with multi-year protection, used in combination with SMARTOPRET CACHET ROUGE; a layer to be applied above to achieve a smooth texture, which can be painted over (eliminates the need for primer). This product is useful for interiors due to its fine granulation, which creates the desired surface texture.

SP2 is an anti-humidity mortar filler coating based on natural lime, mineral fillers, and organic binders making it one of the UAE’s only eco-friendly and non-toxic single-component waterproofing systems that doesn’t require any polymer / resin to be mixed with it or applied on top. SP2 is only required to be mixed with water (in the ratio specified below) and is easily useable on both horizontal and vertical surfaces with optimal adhesion.

SP2 can be applied with a trowel or a blade. The treated surfaces can remain raw or covered with any type of paint.

Product application steps:

1. Dilute the 20kg bag of SMARTOPRET CACHET BLEU in 7 (seven) liters of clean water.
2. Mix using a mechanical stirrer for a maximum of 3 minutes (on slow speed) until a lump-free batter forms.
3. Let the mixture stand 15 minutes before application.
4. Apply the smoothing coating after the SP1 coat has dried fully.
5. Apply the coat using a stainless steel trowel until the desired thickness is obtained (1 millimeter).
